The use of for and by

Prepositions are hard to learn but through practice you will be more confident about their usage.

For instance, for and by are two completely different words and can hardly be compared.

Let's see some examples:

By:The book was written by Mario Vargas Llosa. Mario Vargas LLosa is the author of the book.

For:The book was written for her wife. Someone wrote the book and dedicated it to her.
